About the Stay Bohemia Project
Saving a place with a soul.
That's the core idea behind Stay Bohemia — a project born from a deep desire to preserve Villa Bohemia, a unique 19th-century building standing on the shore of Lake Lipno, in the village of Černá v Pošumaví.
The Story of the Villa
The villa was originally built by the Schwarzenberg family.
For more than a century, it has witnessed the changing landscape, the lives of local people, and the flow of history itself.
Every stone carries the imprint of a time when nobility, craftsmen, fishermen, and ordinary villagers met here — all living in harmony with nature.
Read more about its past in the Villa's Story section.

The Present and the Vision
For many years, the villa has stood closed — yet it has never lost its quiet beauty.
In 2025, the process of its rescue began.
The goal is to restore Villa Bohemia with care, to preserve its historical value, and to transform it into a space that connects culture, music, nature, and human stories.

The First Steps Toward Rescue
Czech Television filmed a report about the story of the villa:
"A historic villa by Lake Lipno is facing demolition. The 150-year-old building could give way to a new apartment resort. But a young volunteer is determined to save it — a house that once belonged to a noble family."

Radio Interview
On 23 October 2025, I was a guest on the program "Paths to Success" on NetroLife Radio (100.8 FM).
We spoke about the story of Villa Bohemia, the first visit that changed everything, and why it truly matters to save places with a soul.
Honestly — I was quite nervous, but that's part of every beginning.
It was a conversation about courage, faith, and a dream that refused to stay a dream.
Thank you to everyone who believes that even the impossible is worth trying.
